The three branches are Judicial, Legislative, and Executive. The role of the Judicial branch was to Interpret the law. They also review lower-court decisions. The Role of the Legislative branch is to Make laws. They grant money, declare war, appointed treaties, and confirms presidential appointments. Last but most important in the Executive branch. This branch proposes laws, administers the laws, command armed forces, appoints ambassadors and other officials, conduct foreign policy, and make treaties. The Executive branch checks on the Legislative branch by vetoing bills or adjourning congress in certain situations. They also check on the Judicial branch by appointing judges. The Judicial branch checks on the Executive branch by declaring some of their acts unconstitutional. They check on the Legislative by declaring some of their laws unconstitutional. The Legislative branch is the check master. They check on the executive in many ways. They can reject their appointments, reject treaties, withhold funding for president initiatives, impeach the president, and override the president's veto. They can check on the Judicial branch by impeaching supreme court justices, and proposes constitutional amendments to overrule judicial decisions. The President gets elected by electoral votes. The citizen vote for who they want as the president and the electoral college usually goes by the citizens choice. Congress elected supreme court justices.

A:Yes I think the government is working like the founders intended it to. On branch cannot be more powerful than the other branch. The whole government is filled with checks and balances. The power is spread over a wide range of area in the government. If it wasn't working I think america would be the same.
